Cammie is a healthy, health-tested, beautiful little girl with a lovely calm but playful temperament.
She has good structure with good balance, moderate angulation and what one breeder called a “nice little head piece.” Her eyes are dark and her nose, lips and eye rims are black (the preferred color for a cream poodle). My friends call her the “movie star” because she is elegant and naturally sits or stands as if posing for the camera. Her lithe little body moves like the wind, with grace and speed that is a joy to behold. We are very pleased that Cammie’s hips have been rated as “excellent” by OFA.
Cammie has an impressive pedigree. All of the males and 2 of the females in her 3-generation pedigree are champions. Her two paternal great-grandfathers were among the top poodles in the United States at the time they were shown (Ale Kai Mikimoto on Fifth and JC Pioneer’s Kaiser). Her mom is from Ravendune and Canryme lines. Her pedigree is diverse with very little inbreeding, as reflected by the low COI.
Cammie’s mom has been retired from breeding and placed in a pet home in the Philadelphia area. She is the black poodle pictured with her new owner on the left side of the home page. Her new owners say that she is the best dog that they have ever had (she is their third poodle). They love her sweet and soulful temperament. Cammie’s dad lives in California. His owners describe him as “one of the smartest, most loving, easy going poodles on the planet.”
Cammie’s temperament is on the calm end of the scale for a standard poodle. She is playful and happy, but mellow and easy to live with. She is well socialized with other dogs and loves playing with them. Like any dog, she needs exercise, but she does well with a moderate amount and is just fine if we need to skip a walk or two (I get lazy when the weather is bad!).
Cammie had a litter of 5 puppies on March 21, 2014. She has been spayed so this will be her only litter. One of the boys, New Destiny’s Sam, stayed with us. He was Cammie’s favorite and Sam and Cammie play together constantly. He was also our choice for possible future breeding — beautiful structure, fabulous movement and a happy confident temperament. The other four puppies have been placed in wonderful pet homes and we are getting glowing reports about them from their new owners.
